JFK, LAX, SFO → PVG · QR,CX · Updated hourly
Monitored continuously since 1 October 2026 — 2 checks across 1 days, verified against the Amadeus GDS.
No bookable business award space has been observed on this route in that time. That is a finding, not a gap — this pairing has not released partner award inventory to the GDS while we have been watching it.
We keep checking hourly and the record above updates with it. If space appears, an alert is the fastest way to hear about it.
About This Route
Nonstop flights between the US and China are still limited, and almost none of their premium award space is visible to partner programmes on any sensible routing. What does produce is one-stop travel: Qatar Airways through Doha, which has shown business seats on most dates we have sampled, and Cathay Pacific through Hong Kong from the West Coast, which opens up less often. Expect long journeys (via Doha is well over 30 hours from New York), but these are real, bookable business seats.

💡 Insider Tip
Check the whole routing and the connection time before transferring points: the Doha connection is often eight hours or more. If you see United offering Shanghai through two US hubs first, treat it as a detour rather than a real option.
